Meet Kate Young
Endorsed Clinical Neuropsychologist
BA(Psych), MClinNeuro
I’m Kate, an endorsed Clinical Neuropsychologist with experience across hospital, community and research settings. I completed a Bachelor of Psychology and Business (double degree) at Griffith University, graduating with First Class Honours in Psychology, before completing a Master of Clinical Neuropsychology at Macquarie University.
I’m passionate about helping people understand how their brain works and why changes may be occurring, taking the time to listen, explain, and collaborate with you and your team. My approach is warm, thoughtful, and tailored to each individual, so you feel supported throughout the process.
I established the Cognitive Wellness Clinic to provide thorough, evidence-based assessments and to empower people with the knowledge and strategies they need to maintain independence, confidence, and quality of life. In the future, I hope to grow the clinic into a multidisciplinary practice, working alongside other psychologists, speech therapists and occupational therapists to provide a fully holistic approach to cognitive wellness.
